EXCLUSIVE: Cardi B Defends Her Publicist After Backlash Over Offset
theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports, Cardi B is coming to the defense of her publicist Patientce Foster. Over the weekend, Patientce received a bit of backlash from some who suggested that she was involved in helping Offset surprise Cardi on stage Saturday during her Rolling Loud set. However, Cardi says that is not the case. She tells us that her relationship with her publicist is more than just professional and that she also maintains a friendship with Offset.
She is my publicist and became my friend older sister and Offset’s as well.
She was there when I gave birth to my daughter rand the only person I have kept with me since the beginning of my career because everybody saw me as a nothing but a piece of opportunity.
Cardi also says that her first publicist told her that she needed to change so that she could appeal to bigger brands. However with Patientce,
I found somebody who fit my personality and look how far we have become. You can’t be mad at somebody for trying to help somebody else.
Patientce also weighed in on social media. See her post below.
