Keri Hilson Denies Being Forced Out of Music Industry “I Left At The Height Of My Career”
Looking for more Keri Hilson music? Well, you may have to wait just a little while longer for a new album. The Grammy nominated singer/songwriter and actress, who’s worked with numerous artist in the industry from T.I., to Chris Brown, Britney Spears and Beyonce, has taken some time off from the studio and fans are asking the 36-year-old, Decatur native, where are the bops?

One fan asked,
“I wonder what a Keri Hilson Song would sound like in 2019. We got her out too soon.”
Hilson responded,
“While I appreciate the sentiment, contrary to popular belief, nobody “got me out.” I left at teh height of my career to handle some internal biz… Soul searching complete.”

Hilson’s last album, ‘No Boys Allowed,’ which dropped in the winter of 2010, featured hits like ‘Pretty Girl Rock’ and ‘One Night Stand,’ opening on the Billboard 200 at number eleven with 102,000 copies sold. Last year, we reported as to why she took a break from music. At the time, she explained,
“It’s kind of a comeback because I hit rock bottom a few times. I’m crawling back to walking in my purpose and using my gifts … I think I had to give up music for a while. I stepped away and thought it would just be a year. It’s been six maybe. I realize now that I’m grateful for all of those years because I’ve built myself back up.”
Is it time for Keri to officially return to the music scene? Let us know in the comments!
