YG’s Coachella After Party Shut Down After An Alleged Drive-By Shooting
YG’s post-Coachella celebration was cut short after a reported drive-by shooting.

Police came and shut the party down after gunshots just outside of the building, an equestrian center, HITS Desert Horse Park, not far from where he hit the stage for the annual music festival. Police stated that they were alerted of the incident at 2 in the morning on Monday. People who were there said someone drove by and opened fire. Still, authorities didn’t see anyone shot or any evidence that the shooting actually happened when they arrived. But they still closed down the event altogether. There currently aren’t any suspects.
YG’s label, 4 Hunnid, was said to be the host of the party. Tickets to attend were at least $70.
The alleged incident happened just hours after YG hit the Coachella stage. Ironically enough, he paid tribute to his friend, rapper and activist Nipsey Hussle, during his performance.

Hussle died on Sunday, March 31, after a man, who police say is Eric Holder, allegedly came and shot Hussle after an encounter at his store, The Marathon, in Crenshaw.

It was reported Hussle’s tragedy made YG’s partygoers even more nervous.
YG also said a few words to remember Hussle at his celebration of life Thursday, held at the Staples Center.
