Odell Beckham, Jr. Rips New York Giants On Social Media: I’m A Cancer To A Place That’s Ok W/ Losing!
NFL superstar, Odell Beckham, Jr. isn’t holding anything back after a recent Twitter rant touching on his tenor in New York. The 3-time Pro Bowler took to Twitter, ripping his former general manager of the New York Giants. First, the first round draft pick criticized Giants Coach Pat Shurmur touching on not being allowed to be on the sideline during home games. Odell says,
Ask the coach …. I beggged him to go to each and every one of those games actually for my teamatws and to be on the sideline for the home games… he told me “No”…. anything else sir. (That’s to whoever tweeted askin why I didn’t travel while I was hurt….) next
Soon after, a fan on Twitter labeled him a “locker room cancer,” Beckham responded by criticizing his former team mate saying he is only a cancer to a place that’s okay wit losing.
“Ask any one of my teammates of who I was as a teammates and a man and a person… Yes I’m cancer to a place that’s ok with losing because I want to win that BADDD. Ur absolutely correct.”
Beckham, Jr. speaks on being traded from the Giants while responding to another fan, adding how he felt disrespected in how the trade went down.
“I’m not upset in ANY way about where I landed. But outta respect what they did, was crazy! and beyond disrespectful. I wanted nothin but the best for NY. But on to a new chapter…. IT’S LIFE.”
He ended his remarks standing firm on his message about his former team. The 26-year-old says his spirit will not be broken in the aftermath of the shocking trade to the Cleveland Browns.
“Broski, my spirit can NOTTTT be broken… like at alll, this is almost a therapy session. It’s more relieving than anything! I’m not tryna be negative so sorry if it comes off that way.”
