Ayesha Curry Recalls Husband’s Fan Invading Her Space While Breastfeeding, Admits It Bothers Her That She Gets No Attention From Other Men: It Has Given Me A Sense Of Insecurity
While Golden Warriors star Steph Curry is a fan favorite, it’s safe to say his wife, Ayesha Curry, is a star in her own right. So much so, that one fan went a little too far in trying to get a snapshot of one of Ayesha’s intimate moments. She revealed during her Red Table Talk interview, that a fan tried to get a photo of her breastfeeding her and Steph’s oldest child, Riley, 6, when Riley was just a baby.
She said the incident happened while she was out shopping.
“This group of people come over and they’re trying to ask Stephen for pictures and autographs. The woman opens the car door, sticks her body in the car and is like, ‘Oh, let me see…’”
Ayesha not only told the woman no but told her to get out of her car. But that wasn’t enough to make the woman budge. The woman said,
“Oh, honey, you know what you signed up for.”

Ayesha said the encounter,
“stuck with me for a long time. Because, no, I didn’t, and I do think I deserve some type of personal space.”
Also in the episode, while Ayesha said she typically has to politely check women who get too close to Steph, she rarely gets the same type of attention from men.
“Something that really bothers me and has given me a sense of an insecurity…Yeah, there are all these women throwing themselves. But me, I don’t have any of that. I have zero male attention. And I begin to internalize that, like ‘Is something wrong with me?’ I’m like, ‘That’s not fair.’ I don’t want it. But it would be nice to know that someone’s looking.”
Along with Riley, Steph and Ayesha also have daughter Ryan, 3, and son Carson, who will be one in July.

As a mother, wife, business owner and celebrity chef, Ayesha certainly has lots on her plate. She recently opened up about how she’s able to juggle it all. She said,
“I truly believe [balance] doesn’t exist,” Ayesha said. “It can exist at certain points but in everyday life I don’t think there’s such thing. I find a lot of solace and comfort in knowing that the moms around me are also running around like chickens with their heads cut off. As perfect as it may look on paper and on Instagram, we’re all just trying to get by.”
