Drake’s Alleged Sports Curse Continues As Boxer Anthony Joshua Loses To Underdog Andy Ruiz
Over the weekend, history was made as one of boxing biggest upsets happened as the World Boxing Association, World Boxing Organization and the International Boxing Federation world titles changed hands. Underdog Andy Ruiz, Jr. defeated former world champ, Anthony Joshua in 7 rounds.

Prior to their bout, Joshua announced he had intentions on breaking the famous curse rapper Drake is alleged to have with teams he roots for. In March, Joshua shared a photo with Drake writing the caption,
“Bout to break the curse.”

After his defeat, fans are pointing the fingers at Drake for the historical lost. One fan responds to the rapper enjoying the curse rumors writing,
“Well this f*cked up.”
The former champion passes his title with a humble message to Ruiz posting a photo congratulating the newly crown champion. Joshua writes,
”This is Andy’s night, congratulations Champ.”

Joshua’s message was received by several notable celebrities including wrestling legends The Rock and Goldberg. Supermodel Naomi Campbell gives an inspiriting message to the former champion saying,
“When things like this happen, it’s to prepare us for something better, better, more driven and determined than ever. To never let us read on our morals. To remind us we have to give 110 percent at all times. HOLD YOUR HEAD HIGH!! This will all make sense very soon.”
