Steph Curry’s Mom Heckled By Toronto Raptors Fans, Cursed At Outside of Hotel [VIDEO]
At times, the Curry’s seem to be the poster family for enduring the not-so-nice part of the NBA for the past couple of years – disrespectful fans. Sonya Curry – mother of Golden State Warriors champion Steph Curry – was recently on the receiving end of some negative remarks, as she encountered some angry Toronto Raptors fans outside of her hotel on Sunday night (6/9/19). Men can be heard repeatedly screaming at Sonya:
“F*ck you!”
See the clip below.
The disrespect for the Curry matriarch, seemingly, stems from the Warriors’ win over the Raptors by one point – narrowly stopping the Canadian team from winning the NBA Finals.

This isn’t the first attack on the Curry’s. Last year, Steph’s wife, Ayesha Curry, was taunted and pushed in her pregnant belly after a playoff game against the Houston Rockets.
However, as seen outside of the hotel, Sonya Curry will always ride for her sons no matter how aggressive the attack. Last year, she told “The Today Show:”
“Mommy mode kicks in at different moments when someone tries to take him out- that motherly instinct will never go away. [As] Mama Bear, when you think someone tries to hurt your child- for me, some of that is just part of the game.”
