NeNe Leakes Denies Reports She ‘Exploded’ Over Cynthia Bailey & Mike Hill’s Engagement: I Sent Her A Gift & I’m Happy She Found Love Again!

When Mike Hill proposed to Cynthia Bailey, some fans wondered what her former BFF NeNe Leakes had to say.

While reports claimed that Leakes was furious and “exploded” over the news of Bailey’s engagement, Leakes said she’s happy for her friend and even sent her a gift. She shared on social media that reports that she was upset over the engagement were false and she was thrilled about Cynthia’s news. She writes,

“Number 1, WHY would i explode? WHY? Chile I don’t want high blood pressure  Number 2, i sent @cynthiabailey10 the nite of her engagement a beautiful gift and card. I couldn’t be happier for her finding love again. Number 3 @radaronline and all the others who continue to pick this up, post, write trying to diminish/damage my character should try using their time in a more productive way like donating to @americancancersocietyThe Lies The Lies The Lies in @kandivoice ?”

There could be hope for Leakes and Bailey’s friendship after all. The two hit a rough patch this season on Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Leakes accused Bailey of setting her up against Bailey’s friend and Leakes’ arch-nemesis Kenya Moore. Leakes said Bailey invited Moore to an event without telling her, but Bailey insists she had no idea Moore was coming.

It got to the point where Leakes unfollowed Bailey on Instagram. Bailey is still following Leakes though.
