Jason Momoa Says Wife Lisa Bonet Was His Childhood Crush ‘I Didn’t Let Her Know I Was A Stalker Until After We Had Kids’

Jason Momoa might be known as a sex symbol, but he reacted in ways most of us would if we crossed paths with our celebrity crush.

He and his wife, iconic actress Lisa Bonet were getting close before he became known as Khal Drogo on “Game of Thrones”.

They began dating in 2005 and married in 2017. Jason Momoa said he was living with Lisa Bonet, who he said was been his dream girl since he was a child, in the earlier days of his career.

The two met in a jazz club, which Jason Momoa said he didn’t take lightly.

He said she was

 “literally my childhood crush. I mean, I didn’t tell her that. I didn’t let her know I was a stalker until after we had the kids.”

Now, thanks to his marriage to Bonet, he said the sky is the limit.

“If someone says something isn’t possible. I’m like, ‘Listen here, I married Lisa Bonet. Anything is f***ing possible.’ ”

They now have two children daughter, Lola Iolani Momoa, and son, Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa.

Bonet is also mom to Zoe Kravitz from her previous relationship with singer Lenny Kravitz.

Momoa said he actually almost missed the birth of his oldest child.

“It was the hottest day, July 20. here was no air-conditioning in these places, so I was sleeping in the front window. I missed about seventy calls. And I woke up and freaked the f*** out.”

Momoa, who was in Canada at the time said,

“So I call the Stargate office, and the bad*** producer is there, and he’s like, ‘Jason, get in the f***ing car, get to the f***ing airport!’ So there’s one seat left on the f***ing back of the plane . . . and I tell the lady, ‘Listen, I’m having a baby—make sure everyone sits down so I can get off the plane first.’ ”

“So I come barreling out of the terminal, like the Predator, like, ‘GET OUT OF THE WAY!’ ”

He made it in time, but joked that he even had a moment where he was star-struck when getting off the plane.

“I’m running through the airport, and I get in the car. I go, like, ‘Dude, I don’t care, run all the lights . . . I’ll pay for everything.’ And I made it in the nick of time. I had about two hours with her in the tub, and my baby girl was born. Oh, and this is the best part! Benjamin Bratt was on the plane! He was in first class. And when I ran past him, I’m like, Oh, s***, Benjamin Bratt! And he was like, ‘Go, go, go.’ ”

While Momoa has been mastering the social media game, one person you won’t see come across his feed is Bonet. He said,

 “She’s very, very, very private. I’m the opposite, like, Come on in!”
