Nipsey Hussle’s Children’s Fund Will Benefit 100% From The Marathon Clothing & Fear of God Collaboration
Nipsey Hussle’s The Marathon Clothing and Fear of God have unveiled a new collaboration for a limited edition collection. According to the store statement, the net proceeds from all sales are “going directly to” the trust fund of Nipsey’s children. Nipsey has two children, Emani and Kross Asghedom, who are both set to inherit from their father’s estate. A Marathon Clothing rep says,
“Nipsey was a big supporter of Jerry Lorenzo’s fashion efforts through both his Fear of God and Essentials brands, having worn several pieces in music videos and other iconic career moments. We, The Marathon Clothing, wanted to see through a collaboration with Fear of God as Nipsey always envisioned it.”

The collection was made available Friday (Oct. 25th) exclusively at Fear of God’s Atmosphere retail exhibition at 427 Hewitt St. in Los Angeles, CA.
The rapper’s girlfriend, actress Lauren London, shared a few photos of the Marathon Clothing and Fear of God collection called, 08 Crenshaw.

In their collaboration, sweatshirts and pullovers feature matching sweatpants and shorts that are steeped in either heather grey or royal blue colors.

In August, reports stated The Marathon Clothing Store raked in $10 million since Nipsey Hussle’s tragic death in March. Last week, the retailer released a statement concerning online orders.
“Our team’s obligation is to fulfill the hundreds and thousands of orders that have been placed is what gave us purpose. With heavy hearts, our team banded together to get the orders shipped. With the extreme amount of orders placed, we have to quickly scale up production, and find a much bigger warehouse to ship the products from.”

The statement continued, adding that some of the delays had to do with required materials being sold out or even months before items were ready.
”Materials needed for production were sold out, and some items were taking 2 to 3 months to be ready.”.
