LaVar Ball Jokingly Says Youngest Son’s Body Needs Time To Mature Because He’s Half White
The head of the Ball family, LaVar Ball made his way to Fox Sports “Undisputed” show Tuesday (March 3), to discuss some of the latest hot topics in sports. But when the conversation switched to his youngest son’s chances in the upcoming 2020 NBA draft, LaVar says LaMelo Ball’s body will not be to its full potential until he reaches his early twenties.
“They not going to get their man body until they’re like, 22, 23.”
LaVar then jokingly adds,
”That’s because of their Mom. She’s caucasian. And we black.”
LaMelo, 18, is the tallest of his two brothers, Liangelo and Lonzo Ball standing at a impressive 6’8. LaMelo Ball has taken his talents overseas, playing for the Illawarra Hawks in Australian.
LaMelo joined the Hawks in the Australian NBL for the 2019-20 season. He has averaged 17.0 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 6.8 assists through 12 games before a foot injury ended his year in mid-January.
As previously reported, this isn’t the first time the Big Baller Brand founder has called out his sons on the small screen. Back in September, LaVar made headlines for calling Lonzo Ball, New Orleans Pelicans guard, “damaged.” He said,
“When I come out with a name & somebody ask me to change it, that’s like people saying change Lonzo name to Alfonzo on the fact that he been damaged goods for the past 2 years.”
