John Legend Urges Church Goers To Stop Going to Church Service Amid Coronavirus Outbreak
Grammy winner John Legend is urging fans to continue practicing their social distancing even if it means skipping a few weeks of church.
Over the weekend (April 4th), the ‘All of Me,’ singer took to his Twitter to discuss practicing religion during the global pandemic COVID-19 (Coronavirus), that has taken thousands of lives in a matter of weeks. John Legend responded to a follower who claims a pastor is advising their congregation to continue to worship as the ongoing virus is a,
“Test of your faith”
In response,, Legend says:
“Don’t let these pastors kill your auntie and grandparents.”

The singer says he can relate with wanting to continue worshiping and he also states he understands that the church needs their congregation to take care of the essentials of the building. Although, he double down by saying,
“BUT. DO. NOT. GO. TO. CHURCH.”

As previously reported, Legend and his family have stayed quite busy during the global coronavirus pandemic. Just recently, Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen hosted a wedding for their daughter Luna’s stuffed animals. On Saturday, (March 28th), Chrissy uploaded the official invite for the wedding online inviting the public to join her family via Instagram live to watch the event.
