Shameik Moore expressed his own frustration about being “attacked” for his opinion. In one tweet, he expresses,
“I’m talking about a solution outside of what we have been doing..are we (the black community) going to attack ME for that? I don’t wanna keep hearing about new names on this list of innocent people…I want it to STOP..how can we HELP stop the problem.”

In another tweet, Moore states,
“I just feel the solution is not to continue to handle the situation the way we’ve been handling it… there are no results… that is LITERALLY the definition of insanity.”

He continues on,
“WHY DO WE GIVE THEM THE ENERGY THEY WANT? Give them an inch they WILL take a mile….We literally know this already. At what point do we look at ourselves and make adjustments?”

This is a continuation of heated discussion revolving around systemic racism in America. Recent tragedies have included Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and George Floyd.
