John Boyega Praises Black Women’s Prayers For Helping His Hair Grow
Actor John Boyega is crediting the prayers of black women for his recent hair growth.
He tweeted earlier this week,
“The prayers from Black women been improving my hair length.”

John Boyega, 28, has made headlines in recent weeks after he called out racist people on Twitter, amid America’s current systematic racism protests, and also urged Black men to take care of Black women, during a Black Lives Matter protest in London’s Hyde Park. He stated as he addressed the crowd,
“Black men, we need to take care of our Black women! We need to take care of them! They’re ours! They’re ours! They’re our future! We cannot demonize our own!”
He added:
“We are the pillars of the family. Imagine this: a nation that is set up with individual families that are thriving, that are healthy, that communicate, that raise their children in love.”

Prior to that protest, the “Star Wars” actor trended on Twitter (May 27) for calling out racists.

He later appeared to be unbothered after Twitter received complaints over his related tweets.
