Tamera Mowry: I’m Leaving “The Real”
Tamera Mowry is officially leaving “The Real”. The talk show host has been on the show for seven years, since the show’s inception. Sharing the news on social media, she said that she’ll be
“spending more time with my family, pursuing amazing new opportunities.”

theJasmineBRAND broke the story in 2019, that Amanda Seales was joining the show as the 5th permanent co-host. The news was later confirmed in January 2010. Amanda Seales left the show in June (2020).

The Real launched in 2014. The initial co-hosts were Adrienne Bailon, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, Tamar Braxton and Tamera Mowry.
On January 3, 2018, Fox Television Stations picked up two more seasons of the series, effectively allowing Warner Bros. Television Distribution to continue to produce it into the 2019–20 television season. On November 4, 2019, Fox Television Stations renewed the series for the seventh and eighth seasons with Warner Bros. Television Distribution producing the show into the 2021–2022 television season.
