Whitney Houston and her daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown’s life stories and tragic deaths have been covered multiple times through biopics and made for TV films.
Now, a new trailer gives a first look at the latest project on the mother and daughter. Lifetime released the promo for Whitney Houston & Bobbi Kristina: Didn’t We Almost Have It All on Tuesday (Dec. 22nd).
Singer and music exec Perri “Pebbles” Reid said in the trailer:
“Whitney was an icon. This is the first time I’ve ever spoken about Whitney.”
Randy Jackson added:
“We built this perspective of what this pop princess [is].”

Whitney Houston passed away at 48 years old on Feb. 11, 2012, after being discovered unconscious in the bathtub of a Beverly Hills hotel. Bobbi Kristina Brown, unfortunately, passed on July 26, 2015. She was also found unconscious in the bathtub of her Roswell, Ga. home. She was 22 years old.
Bobbi Kristina Brown’s friend Sarah Beckman said in the first look:
“The fact that she was found in a bathtub with the same fate as her mother doesn’t make any sense.”
The 2-hour film will premiere on Saturday, Feb. 6 a 8/7c.
