Dr. Dre Agrees To Give Estranged Wife Nicole Young One-Time Payment Of $2 Million In Temporary Spousal Support
Could the divorce drama between Dr. Dre and his estranged wife Nicole Young be coming to an end?
Nicole Young filed for divorce last summer, and that was just the beginning of a very public back and forth between the iconic producer and soon to be ex-wife.
But in new reports, Dr. Dre is said to be ready to compromise.
He has allegedly agreed to pay Nicole Young of $2 million in temporary spousal support.
While Nicole Young requested $2 million monthly, Dr. Dre’s payment will reportedly be a one-time thing. He was previously giving $293,306 a month in temporary support.
He also still refuses to pay the $5 million she requested for attorney’s fees but will continue paying for her Malibu home and her mother’s house in Pacific Palisades for several months. Still, he won’t be paying for her security.
The news comes as Dr. Dre recovers from a brain aneurysm.
He broke his silence after the health scare earlier this week and wrote on Instagram:
“Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes. I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!”
