‘Justice League’ Actor Removed From ‘The Flash’ After Calling Out DC Films President

Actor Ray Fisher confirmed in a lengthy statement on Twitter (Jan. 14) that he has been pulled from The Flash movie after his ongoing battle with WarnerMedia and DC Films.

Ray Fisher is known for his superhero character Cyborg in 2017’s Justice League.

An investigation began after Ray Fisher made claims that the Justice League director Joss Whedon “was gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable” while doing reshoots for the movie.

WarnerMedia performed an investigation that wrapped in December. It said in a statement;

“An investigation into the Justice League movie has concluded and remedial action has been taken.”

Ray Fisher then called out DC Films president Walter Hamada, stating that he refuses to work in any projects Walter Hamada is involved with.

Now, Ray Fisher has taken to Twitter to confirm he was pulled from the upcoming film The Flash. He says that the decision is “unsurprising” and adds that he wants to,

He continued,

“No one, in any profession, should have to argue with their employer for their claims of abuse, racism, and discrimination to be taken up the proper chain of command. And no one, in any position of leadership, should attempt to dissuade those wishing to report such claims from doing so.”

His statement comes shortly after he denied that he was getting removed.

He went on to call out Walter Hamada before pointing out that his team was still in talks with WarnerMedia on how to move forward.

“The fact is: the Justice League investigation led to @WarnerMedia(and it’s affiliates) parting ways with Joss Whedon. Geoff Johns will be following suit. Had Walter Hamada gotten his way, NONE of that would have been possible, and the cycle of abuse would’ve continued.”
