Letitia Wright Briefly Hospitalized After Performing Stunt On Set Of Black Panther 2
Letitia Wright, who played the younger sister to the late Chadwick Bosemen in Black Panther, suffered injuries on Wednesday (8/25), while filming the sequel. She was briefly hospitalized for the minor injuries but later released around 1 pm.

A Disney Spokesperson said,
“Letitia Wright sustained minor injuries today while filming a stunt for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. She is currently receiving care in a local hospital and is expected to be released soon.”
At this time, there is no indication of how severe Letitia Wright’s injuries are, but the accident did involve a stunt rig. Sources say that it will not interrupt the film’s schedule.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will follow-up the 2018 film that starred Chadwick Boseman, who passed away from Colon Cancer in August of 2020, as T’Challa/Black Panther.

Although there isn’t much information about the plot or how the film will continue without Bosemen, Ryan Cooogler is back as the director along with other previous characters like Letitia Wright, who will be reprising her role as Shuri.
