Boosie Claims Instagram Deactivated His Account For Promoting Upcoming Biopic: You Messing W/ Me & My Family!

It looks like Boosie is upset with Instagram once again!

Earlier today (Tuesday, Sept. 28th), Boosie (real name Torrence Hatch Jr.) blasted Instagram for allegedly deleting his account once again. This is not the first time he’s run into trouble with the popular social media app, as he was first deactivated last year for posting violating the platform’s guidelines. Then, back in March, Boosie‘s Instagram was deactivated once again.

Boosie kicked off his recent tirade by suggesting Instagram deleted his account for promoting his upcoming biopic, My Struggle. The rapper tweeted:

“MY IG WAS TAKEN FOR NOTHING AGAIN. THEY MUST HAVE FOUND OUT I HAVE A FILM THAT IM PROMOTING. PLEASE CONTINUE TO BUY MY FILM DESPITE THIS MOVE TO STOP THE SUCCESS OF MY STRUGGLE. Y’ALL ALL I GOT AGAINST THESE POWERFUL PEOPLE. BUY IT TWICE TO BOOST MY FIRST WEEK NUMBERS THANKS.”

He continued:

“THEY SAW ME REACH OUT TO DRAKE FOR HELP SMH GO BUY MY MOVIE 3 TIMES F**K THESE PEOPLE.”

Boosie then added:

“Take my IG the week of my MOVIE RELEASE!! u messing with me n my family ITS UP!!!!”

In addition to these tweets, Boosie also fired off a series of tweets that were seemingly directed at Adam Mosseri, the head of Instagram, and his wife. Boosie tweeted:

How do these people rich a** people have these ugly ass wifes [sic] like wtf u was thinking THAT H*E SHOT LOL.”

He also added:

“HOW DID YOUR RICH A** FIND SOMETHING SO F**KING UGLY!! YALL SUPPOSED TO HAVE BAYWATCH WOMEN THEM H*ES LOOK LIKE S**T N YALL PUT A RING ON SMH I KNOW U LOOK ON IG ALL DAY AT WOMEN LIKE WTF DID I DO MY WIFE IS A GHOSTBUSTER.”

He then made similar statements before directly addressing Adam Mosseri, saying:

“CEO of ig what were u thinking when u saw her Adam?”

Notably, Adam Mosseri previously spoke on Boosie‘s troubles with Instagram while on The Breakfast Club in July. He said:

“You’ve gotta draw the line somewhere. It’s a nudity policy. We try to be clear. You can appeal but if you get too many strikes, something will happen… There are things where we just have to draw the line or define a rule that is practical.”
