Wendy Williams Will Continue Hiatus From Talk Show Through November
The speculation surrounding Wendy Williams’ return continues.
According to the The Wendy Williams Show’s latest social media post, Wendy will not return to her talk show this month. Today, (10/19) the show announced on their Instagram that guests will continue to host through the next two weeks.

On Instagram they wrote,
“The fun and laughs continue when we welcome @WhitneyCummings next week as our special guest host. Then, @sherrieshepherd is back to guest host the week of November 1.”

Comedian Whitney Cummings responded to the post saying,
“Nobody can ever replace Wendy but we will do what we can to fill in so she can come back stronger than ever. She’s gone so hard for so long and as much as I miss seeing her every day, just imagine how hilarious she’s gonna be after some time to take care of herself and have some quiet time to think! Feel free to send me topics you guys want covered! We all wanna make Wendy proud.”

A press release, which included a statement from Sherri Shepherd, stated:
“I had such a great time when I hosted the show in 2019 and I’m flattered that Wendy and the producers put their trust in me to fill in again. I’m sending my love and well wishes out to her.”

Executive Producer David Perler added,
“We look forward to having both of these talented and entertaining women in the ‘Wendy’ studio as guest hosts in the upcoming weeks. We can’t wait to see what they have in store for our viewers!”
As previously reported, Wendy Williams has reportedly been experiencing serious complications from her battle with Grave’s disease and thyroid condition. She was originally set to return on Sept. 20th, but pushed it back as a result of her health.
