Floyd Mayweather Refuses To Take Photo W/ Teen Boy Because Of His Painted Nails
It looks like Floyd Mayweather isn’t a fan of the males painting their nails trend.
He made headlines after he refused a photo with a teenage boy because his nails were painted.
The young man approached the pro boxer during the Los Angeles Clippers’ game against the Memphis Grizzlies at the Staples Center Saturday (Oct. 23), but was turned away because of his nails.
Floyd Mayweather says in a now-viral video,
“You got painted nails, I don’t take pictures with guys with no painted nails.”
His security guard steps in, causing the fan to back away.
He said of Floyd Mayweather’s remarks:
“Floyd doesn’t want to take a picture with me because my nails are painted. Bruh, really?!”
Meanwhile, Mayweather was spotted snapping photos with lots of other fans at the game.
The fan might have better luck with Lil Yachty.
Earlier this year, rapper Lil Yachty debuted his nail polish line, Crete, which he said is for all genders. He said of men wearing nail polish,
“If someone wants to express themselves in any type of way, as long as it’s not harming anyone or bringing anyone down, they should be allowed to do so. You shouldn’t be punished or tormented for doing you.”

In July, Kid Cudi reacted to the backlash he received for rocking painted nails on Instagram.
He later tweeted,
“Seems people really have a problem w [with] me painting my nails. I got tired of blocking so many accounts. I really need you to understand if you don’t like me doing this or anything I do, please don’t buy my albums, don’t come to my shows. F*** way off.”
