‘Full House’ Dad, Bob Saget Died From Head Trauma
Bob Saget’s family has come forward with an update regarding the legendary comedian’s cause of death. Bob Saget was found unresponsive in his Orlando Florida hotel room, on January 9th. The Orange County Sheriff’s office maintained that the circumstances leading to Bob Saget’s death had not included signs of drug use, or foul play.
In a statement to Variety, Saget’s family disclosed that the beloved “Full House” dad had passed away due to head trauma.
“In the weeks since Bob’s passing, we have been overwhelmed with the incredible outpouring of love from Bob’s fans, which has been a great comfort to us and for which we are eternally grateful. Now that we have the final conclusions from the authorities’ investigation, we felt it only proper that the fans hear those conclusions directly from us. The authorities have determined that Bob passed from head trauma. They have concluded that he accidentally hit the back of his head on something, thought nothing of it and went to sleep. No drugs or alcohol were involved.”
The statement continues. “As we continue to mourn together, we ask everyone to remember the love and laughter that Bob brought to this world, and the lessons he taught us all: to be kind to everyone, to let the people you love know you love them, and to face difficult times with hugs and laughter.”
The sitcom star got his start in the eighties as a raunchy stand-up comedian. Saget later made the transition into family-friendly comedy. The late comedian caught his big break when he was cast to play Danny Tanner on the ABC sitcom, “Full House.” Danny Tanner was a widowed broadcaster, who enlisted the help of his best friend, and late wife’s brother, to help raise his three young daughters. This acting role cemented Bob’s place as one of America’s most treasured tv dads. The nostalgia set in when the “America’s Funniest Home Videos” host later reprised his role as Danny Tanner, on the Netflix reboot “Fuller House.” Saget left his mark on the entertainment industry, and aided in the construction of the sitcom dad’s seen on tv today.

We continue to send our condolences to the family, friends, and fans of the late Bob Saget.
