Cuba Gooding Jr. Pleads Guilty In Sexual Abuse Case
There’s a new update in Cuba Gooding Jr.‘s sexual abuse case.
On Wednesday, April 13, Cuba Gooding Jr. pleaded guilty to forcibly touching a woman in a New York City nightclub in 2018. She was one of three women who accused him of unwanting touching at different locations in Manhattan between 2018 and 2019.

Cuba Gooding Jr. will reportedly avoid serving time in prison as a result of the deal. But he is required to stay in counseling for the next six months and avoid getting into trouble.
“I apologize for ever making anybody feel inappropriately touched,” he reportedly said during the hearing.

Gooding was taken into custody in 2019 after a woman claimed he had allegedly touched her breast at a bar in New York City. Two more women came forward from there and claimed the actor had also touched them inappropriately.
Though only one of those allegations would lead to criminal charges, had he not pleaded guilty, the other two women could have been allowed to testify against him. In total, he has been accused of sexual misconduct by more than 20 women.
