Funk Flex Calls Taxstone A ‘New York Punk’ As He Addresses Media Personality’s Claims
That He Had Charlamagne Tha God Beat Up
Radio host Funkmaster Flex is clearing up recent accusations against him.
While doing an interview on the Million Dollaz Worth Of Game podcast, media personality Taxstone alleged that Funk Flex once put a hit out on fellow radio host Charlamagne Tha God. The former Hot 97 host recently responded to the serious accusation, detailing the incident and unleashing on Taxstone.
Funk Flex stated:
“What happened was New York….You put on your cape. Remember the cape? The Charlamagne cape? You put it on – because you told Charlamagne who beat him up.”
He continued:
“See New York … there’s two different kinds of punks. You can be a punk from New York, but you can be a punk from out of town. So when you take a punk from out of town and put him in New York, and then you got this guy from Brooklyn that wasn’t invited up that day … and the first thing he says to you, ‘You know the guys that beat you up, one got killed.'”

Charlamagne
According to the disc jockey, Taxstone told Charlemagne of Flex’s alleged hit on him to gain Charlemagne’s trust. While he addressed the situation, Flex referred to Charlamagne several times as a “punk” and Taxstone as “the fake extortionist.” He further explained his truth behind the made-up claims and continued:
“That right there, the punk now pisses his pants…..The fake extortionist, he see this. ‘Oh this guy’s pissing his pants? Let me tell him more. And Flex paid to get you bopped on the head. You need my protection. Me and you? We’re now friends.’ What do you say to a guy after he says, ‘Yeah my man, he killed him?’ – this is crazy. So you know the person that killed the guy that beat you up. Now imagine Charlamagne’s face when he’s telling him this. ‘Oh, he gonna kill me. They gonna kill me. Don’t shoot me! Who is this guy? Why is he in the studio?’”

Funk Flex
Flex then addressed Taxstone’s allegations that fellow radio host Ebro was offended when Charlamagne helped Taxstone’s budding media career. Flex stated:
“If you think Ebro cares about that, you’re kidding yourself”
Radio host Ebro also denied Taxstone’s claims stating recently:
“That makes no sense sir, why would anyone have a problem with you being helped and put on a show….What I had a problem with is you thought it would be a good idea to put my daughter’s mother on Instagram going after her. So I called executives at MTV and got you suspended. I didn’t get you fired, I just wanted you to know that I could get to your pockets. I’m not no street dude and we not gon’ see each other. I’m not doing all that, bro.”
