Update: DaBaby Says He Put DaniLeigh Out His House Because She Was Stalking The Other Mother Of His Kids, Claims They Were Recently Intimate [VIDEO]

Update: DaBaby is speaking out, addressing DaniLeigh’s recent interview. The rapper took to Instagram Live immediately after the interview began to gain social media traction. He began by criticizing her management in the rollout of her new single stating:

“I feel like y’all kinda showing your hand. I feel like y’all should’ve put that together better”.

He also says they were intimate around the same time he attacked her brother stating:

“Before we got on your brother ass, you was just at The London [hotel] with me that whole week getting busy”.

DaBaby continues noting that he kicked DaniLeigh out late last year, because she was “stalking” the mother of his other daughter. See the video below.

It’s been a few months since the infamous Instagram Live altercation with DaniLeigh and DaBaby, and it looks like the 27-year-old singer/choreographer is ready to move on from the chaos. During a recent interview with Angie Martinez, DaniLeigh opens up about her tumultuous relationship with rapper, DaBaby, 30.

While reflecting on the night of the verbal altercation, DaniLeigh admits that she and DaBaby–whom she shares her 8-month-old daughter with– were not in a good place in their relationship and that it was a really bad time for them, however, she regrets that the fall out was shared publicly for the world to see.

“It was very triggering, and very sad. I wish it didn’t happen because I don’t want my baby to see that later on in life. But she’ll grow to be her own person and to be able to take things in.”

When asked how she will explain the video to her daughter when she’s older, DaniLeigh replied,

“It depends on the type of person she grows up to be. The only responsibility I have is to raise her to be a strong woman and she’ll feel how she feels. She’s her own person.”

As previously reported, DaniLeigh and DaBaby were live on Instagram in November when DaBaby kicked her out of his house. DaBaby went on DaniLeigh’s Instagram Live, and filmed her–while breast feeding their child– saying that he was only filming her for his safety. DaniLeigh claimed she  had been living at his house for months. DaBaby would eventually call the cops on DaniLeigh and she was charged with simple assault. The next day she and her daughter would go on to move out of DaBaby’s house.

In the interview, Angie Martinez tells DaniLeigh that her relationship with DaBaby appeared to be toxic. The “Easy” singer went on to detail the ups and downs of her relationship with the rapper.

“Me and Baby had been together for about like, three years on and off. It was toxic. You know, we had our really good times.. We were in love in the beginning…. Of course he would have his little mess-ups and stuff.  We would break up for a month and then get back together… We broke up a lot. There was a lot of on and offs going on. But during that time, I definitely wasn’t his side piece.”

DaniLeigh thinks that DaBaby was trying to “make her look bad” with the Instagram Live, and says he was being “very selfish” in the incident especially since she had recently given birth to his child. When asked if he’s apologized for the incident yet, DaniLeigh replied,

“No, he’s just like that though. You’ve seen his interview, He said does he regret anything and he said, ‘no.'”

She admits that it has been difficult co-parenting and having to maintain a relationship for the sake of their daughter.

“I feel like I really did love him so much that I was just giving it all to him … I didn’t even focus on my career.”

When asked if she would do anything differently, she replied,

“Yeah, I think the first time he showed me, or cheated on me… I would’ve left him.”

DaniLeigh also released a new single, “Dead To Me” where she addresses their tumultuous relationship.
