Saucy Santana Responds To Beyhive Backlash Following Resurfaced Negative Tweets About Beyonce & Blue Ivy, + Beyonce’s Cousin Seemingly Responds
Breakout rap star Saucy Santana is the latest celeb to be in the cancel culture hot seat.
Ahead of his recent performance in Houston, TX, Saucy Santana, 28, made headlines after a twitter user called him out for previous not so nice statements he made about international superstar songstress Beyoncé, 40, and her 10-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy. Beyoncé is a native of the south central state.
Via several tweets from 2014 and 2015, the “Booty” artist criticized a then 8-year-old Blue Ivy’s hair type calling it “nappy”, and went on to compare her aesthetically to then 8-year-old North West, the daughter of estranged couple Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.

Responding to another person’s tweet who stated they just “wanna be Blue Ivy”, Santana responded:
“nappy headed… Or”

In another tweet responding to a different user who stated “North West CLEARS Blue Ivy“, the “Material Girl” artist agreed, stating:
“Just said this yesterday”

Almost a year later, previous tweets revealed Santana also had words for Blue Ivy’s famous mom, Beyoncé. In one tweet, the musician called the Lemonade artist “dry” and declared himself prettier than her, writing:
“I never had insecurities. I wouldn’t give af if Beyoncé was standing next to me… I’ll still think I’m prettier than her.”

Following the resurfaced tweets going viral, many of Beyoncé’s very loyal fan group members, dubbed the “Beyhive”, made it known they were not here for the rappers comments. Many of them disparaged Santana for comparing the looks of children and called for a public apology.

Of course, Saucy Santana, true to his name, didn’t back down from the fight. The rapper called out “fake woke” people and sounded off in a series of tweets, making it clear that if he did owe an apology, it wouldn’t be to internet users.

Momentarily, it seemed the Beyhive had mostly made amends with the rapper as a video surfaced shortly after of Santana performing his new song “Booty” in Houston to a hyped up crowd. The new record, feat. Latto, ironically samples Beyoncé and her famous husband Jay Z’s 2003 hit “Crazy In Love”, which Santana played on stage.
However, Beyoncé’s cousin, songwriter Angie Beyince, seemingly caught wind of the incident. Posting her grammy award winning cousin’s song “Brown Skin Girl” – which features Blue Ivy – to her insta story, Angie wrote:
“Dear Brown Skin Girls & Women, You are beautiful just the way you are”

Beyoncé routinely remains quiet publicly on matters such as this, however it wouldn’t be surprising to hear it come up on her new suspected album.
