Saucy Santana Speaks Out Against Letting Feuds Keep You From Working W/ Artists In The Industry: You Don’t Have Time To Get Into Politics [VIDEO]
Rapper Saucy Santana, 28, recently spoke on what it’s like to work in the music industry amid feuds between artists.
During a recent interview, Florida rap artist Saucy Santana was asked how he navigates through the hip-hop industry when it comes down to working with other artists and selecting features. The interviewer referenced rap star Nicki Minaj refusing to perform her popular verse to Kanye West’s song “Monster” during a performance that took place 4th of July weekend.
As previously reported, during her headlining set at this year’s Essence Festival, Nicki Minaj, 39, had the DJ cut off her hit song “Monster” with Kanye West, 45. According to Nicki Minaj, she refused to perform the track because “we don’t f*ck with clowns,” which appears to be a diss aimed at Kanye West.

“I feel like coming from someone that’s early in the game, you don’t really have time to get into all of those politics. We all trying to work, you know, we all are inspired by different people. We all want to work with different people.”
The internet personality continued,
“We want to have, you know, different moments, different sounds. Different people bring different things to the table.”
