Barack Obama definitely has an eclectic music taste!
Summer is almost over, but the season can’t end before Barack Obama shares his highly anticipated summer playlist. On July 26, the former president revealed the songs that made the cut this year. He captioned his list,
“Every year, I get excited to share my summer playlist because I learn about so many new artists from your replies—it’s an example of how music really can bring us all together.”
Barack Obama added,
“Here’s what I’ve been listening to this summer. What songs would you add?”

As expected, the list of 44 songs is a mix of many musical genres, including pop, r&b, old-school tunes, and hip-hop tracks. It’s unclear when Barack Obama started working on this list, but Beyonce did make the cut again this year for her recently released track “Break My Soul.”
