Cardi B Will Not Appear On Ice Spice’s ‘Munch’ Remix, Despite Teasing Fans w/ Her Verse

 Cardi B may have hopped on Ice Spice’s ‘Munch’ beat but that doesn’t mean she’s on the official remix.  

Last night (Oct. 9), the ‘Invasion of Privacy’ rapper teased fans visually while playing a snippet of her verse on the now-viral ‘Munch’ song by rising rapper Ice Spice. Following the release of the snippet, many fans were left wondering if there will be a remix and if Cardi B is on it. 

A remix featuring the pair wouldn’t be too far-fetched. After all, both ladies are from the Bronx and Cardi B has shown Ice Spice much love since she hit the scene. Aside from that, the two were recently photographed smiling and chatting together at Cardi B and Offset’s ‘Fashion Night Out’ event. 

However, before fans could get too excited, Cardi B, 29, tweeted that the collab was not happening, 

“I’m not putting that song out, by the way…. you know I don’t do teases.”

When asked why not, she posted, 

“I like it. I don’t love it…just having fun.” 

While fans were a little disappointed in the comments, they should not count out a collab between the Bardi and Ice Spice in the future. Cardi B seems to be having a lot of fun adding a verse to remixes lately. 

Earlier this year, she was featured on rapper Kay Flock’s ‘Shake It’ remix. Most recently, Cardi B and Memphis rapper Glorilla had massive success with the ‘Tomorrow’ remix.  The single hit the Billboard Hot 100 at number 9 last week and had 10 million views on YouTube within a week of its release. 

Plus, Ice Spice is still riding her own wave of success. ‘Munch’ has generated nearly 15 million Spotify streams since its release in August. In addition, the 22-year-old’s video for the song surpassed 12.8 million views.
