Mike Tyson & Evander Holyfield Collaborate On “Ear-ie” Cannabis Edibles
Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield are ready to make a profit off of their infamous boxing match!
According to reports, former boxing legends Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield are collaborating on an “ear-ie” cannabis product. Earlier this year, Mike Tyson, born Michael Gerard Tyson, presented cannabis “ear-shaped” gummies called “Mike Bites,” seemingly relating to when the 56-year-old won the 1997 WBA Heavyweight Championship and during the match, he infamously bit his opponent Evander Holyfield’s ear.
Well, it seems like the retired athletes have put their differences aside, because, on Black Friday, Tyson’s cannabis company will introduce “Holy Ears,” which is a line of THC and Delta-8 THC-infused edibles. The entrepreneur pair intend on releasing Holyfield’s solo cannabis line in 2023.
In recent years, Tyson has become an evangelist for marijuana and psychedelics. In a previous interview he shared:
“If I was on cannabis, I wouldn’t have bit Holyfield’s ear!”
Tyson smoked marijuana as a child and gave it up for decades after he lost a spot on the Olympic boxing team in 1984. The New York native admitted:
“I’d get raving drunk, and people would say it was better than getting high.”
Revealing that he didn’t like the effect of other painkillers besides cannabis, Tyson added:
“You can’t sh*t. You can’t do nothing.”

Holyfield shared his feelings on Tyson selling “ear-shaped” edibles based on their past experience:
“I didn’t think it was funny at first, but then I realized Mike hadn’t been in more trouble for a while.”
Holyfield admitted he hadn’t tried marijuana until he tried a “Holy Ears” sample. The 60-year-old said:
“I wanted to make sure I got home and didn’t do anything to anyone.”
He added:
“I ate it and laid down. I woke up the next morning and was like, ‘Whoa.’”
Although cannabis is still illegal in some parts of America, Tyson’s 2.0 (cannabis company) partner Chad Bronstein said the boxer’s product has helped change hearts, minds, and even ears.
