As previously reported, Migos rapper Takeoff – born Kirshnick Khari Ball – was killed by gunfire last month at 810 Billiards & Bowling in Houston at age 28. At the time of his death, there was much speculation about the events that led to the rap star’s murder. Following the arrest of 33-year-old Patrick Xavier Clark, who is suspected of firing off the fatal bullets, his arrest warrant was released – detailing what information police has gathered about the tragic night.
Reportedly, the legal docs say a “lucrative dice game” led to multiple individuals arguing. Takeoff’s fellow Migos rapper and uncle Quavo reportedly lost the dice game and an argument ensued between him, Joshua ‘Lil Cam’ Cameron, Michael Prince, and Christopher Watkins. Cameron, 22, was the first person detained during the investigation. However, video surveillance reportedly confirmed Cameron did not fire his weapon. He was detained for unlawful carrying of a weapon by a felon.

Video footage also shows that after Quavo turned away, attempting to leave the argument, a fight broke out. One of Migos associates, William Bland, reportedly punched Lil Cam after he saw a weapon on him while Quavo’s back was turned. Subsequently, Lil Cam‘s associate Christopher Watkins, according to Bland, ran towards him. Bland told investigators he shoved Watkins, believing he and Cameron were about to attempt to rob Quavo, and that’s when gunfire began.

The legal doc states that surveillance footage then shows Clark firing multiple round’s in Takeoff’s direction. Reportedly, investigators “recovered nine .40 caliber shell casings in the vicinity of the shooting”. Additionally, “a 9mm shell casing was found further away from Takeoff’s body“. Reportedly, a wine bottle Clark left at the scene was used to pull his fingerprints.

After the shooting ceased, footage shows Clark fleeing the scene in a gray Ford F-150. Investigators say Clark then made a phone call to professional boxer Shakur Stevenson. Reportedly, the two arrived and left the event together. Reports state that Clark was arrested on December 1st in the same vehicle he fled the crime scene in.

As we reported, the alleged shooter was found with a significant amount of cash and a ticket to Mexico. Clark applied for and received an expedited passport days after the shooting according to police. After being detained Clark’s bond was set at $2 million. However, the suspected killer maintains his innocence, and recently had his motion to hire a private investigator approved by the court.
