Young Thug — 3 of Rapper’s Co-Defendants Could Face New Charges In RICO Case for Allegedly Stabbing Another Inmate
Associates of Young Thug (real name Jefferey Williams) are allegedly still wreaking havoc from behind bars.
Three of the rapper’s co-defendants — YSL members Bhris, Bali, and Lil Rod — have been accused by the authorities of stabbing another prisoner in the Fulton County Jail, according to HotNewHipHop.
Rodalius “Lil Rod” Ryan and Damone “Bali” Blalock are serving life sentences on separate murder charges. Christian “Bhris” Eppinger is behind bars following a shooting against an Atlanta police officer in February 2022.
While officials have yet to share additional the stabbing’s victim identity and status, the attack could mean new charges in the ongoing RICO case against YSL, which authorities claim is a violent street gang to blame for crime across Atlanta.
Angela D’Williams, Ryan‘s lawyer, is adamant that her client is not guilty of the stabbing.
D’Williams said,
“Mr. Ryan is hopeful that there is a thorough investigation and that there is not a rush to judgement. Mr. Ryan maintains his innocence regarding this incident.”
Eppinger and another YSL member, Antonio “Obama” Sumlin, are also accused of stabbing YFN Lucci (real name Rayshawn Lamar Bennett) at the Fulton County Jail last February. Prosecutors claim Eppinger and Sumlin—one of the eight YSL associates who have subsequently accepted a plea deal—requested Young Thug‘s permission to take another attempt on Lucci‘s life.
