Jonathan Majors Ex Girlfriend Grace Jabbari Asks People To Donate To Domestic Abuse Organization Who Helped Her Win Assault Case Against The Actor

The ex girlfriend of actor Jonathan Majors is speaking publicly for the first time following her court room win.

Grace Jabbari reportedly took to social media recently urging people to donate to an organization who aided in her domestic violence lawsuit against the movie star that resulted in a guilty verdict.

According to reports, the 30-year-old Britain shared an image to her instagram story asking her followers to send donations to the domestic abuse organization Sanctuary for Families New York on her behalf. Grace Jabarri reportedly wrote as a caption :

“For my birthday, if you want.. a donation to @sffny, a charity that helped me so much this year, would be the best gift you could give,”

She reportedly added:

“Thank you so much @sffny, and everyone else…For everything.”

Reportedly, the organization represented Jabbari in her lawsuit against Jonathan Majors, that saw him facing four charges of assault in harassment. As we previously reported, the 34-year-old was found guilty of two misdemeanor charges — assault in the third degree and harassment in the second degree. Speaking on the verdict, Sanctuary for Families New York also released a statement via their social media, writing:

“Sanctuary for Families is proud to have represented Ms. Jabbari throughout this process and will continue to support her on her journey toward justice and healing.

Ross Kramer, Director of Sanctuary’s Incarcerated Gender Violence Survivors Initiative, issued the following statement:

“We are gratified to see justice served by today’s guilty verdict. Ms. Jabbari testified publicly and truthfully, even though reliving these traumatic events on the witness stand was obviously painful. We are grateful to the jurors and the Judge for their attention and patience, and to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office for their hard work and support.”

Though Majors was convicted, legal affairs journalist Meghann Cunniff later clarified that the entertainer was ultimately found guilty of injuring Jabbari’s finger during their March altercation, though jurors agreed they don’t believe it was intentional. If you recall footage of the aforementioned incident appeared to show Majors doing his best to separate himself from Jabbari after the two got into a verbal fight which led to him aggressively shoving her to keep in her the vehicle. In attempting to get away however, Jabbari’s legal team successfully argued that the actor broke her finger and caused a laceration to her ear.

At this time it doesn’t appear that Majors has personally spoken about the result of his guilty verdict. He’s reportedly to be sentenced at the beginning of next year and face up to a year behind bars. His lawyer, however, did release a statement on his behalf that read:

“Mr. Majors is grateful to God, his family, his friends, and his fans for their love and support during these harrowing eight months…Mr. Majors still has faith in the process and looks forward to fully clearing his name.”
