Kamala Harris Chooses Minnesota Governor Tim Walz As Running Mate; Beyoncé Reportedly Donates $4 Million To Campaign
Vice President Kamala Harris has announced Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate for the 2024 presidential election.
Tim Walz, who is currently serving his second term as Minnesota governor and chairs the Democratic Governors Association, previously served 12 years in Congress.

Known for his progressive stance and spirited criticisms of Republican opponents, Tim Walz has been a vocal defender of President Joe Biden and an advocate for Vice President Kamala Harris.
His recent remarks, in which he called GOP presidential candidates “weird dudes” in response to J.D. Vance’s comments about “childless cat ladies” running the country, have struck a chord with Democrats and bolstered his role as a key figure in the campaign.
In addition to announcing her running mate, Kamala Harris has received a significant boost from the entertainment world. Beyoncé has reportedly pledged $4 million to Harris’s campaign, with plans to contribute more if needed.

According to reports, an insider revealed,
“She has set aside $4 million dollars to donate to the campaign, with plans to donate more if she sees the need to.”
The pop icon’s support extends beyond financial contributions; she has also reportedly cleared her schedule to appear at a forthcoming fundraiser and granted permission for her song Freedom to be used on the campaign trail.
Adding to the momentum, former President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama have also endorsed Harris. In a video shared on Harris’s campaign channel, Barack Obama expressed his and Michelle’s full support, stating,
“We think she’ll make a fantastic President of the United States, and that she has our full support.”

This endorsement aligns with a surge of celebrity support, including rappers Megan Thee Stallion and Quavo, who appeared at an Atlanta rally for Harris’s campaign last month.
