Mattel Facing Class Action Lawsuit After ‘Wicked’ Dolls Were Sold w/ Link To P*rn Site
Mattel’s recent Wicked doll drama has resulted in a class action lawsuit.
According to TMZ, the toy company was sued by a South Carolina mother who claims her daughter was left “horrified” after an X-rated misprint on the doll’s packaging led the child to a site with “hardcore, full on nude p*rnographic images depicting actual intercourse.”
As we previously covered, Mattel issued a recall last month shortly after the mishap was discovered. The company quickly pulled the dolls from shelves and apologized for the error, though the plaintiff in their new lawsuit argues they didn’t do enough.

The mom reportedly states that Mattel didn’t offer a refund for the affected toy and that she and her daughter have suffered emotional distress as a result of the incident. She says that the toy was marketed for children as young as 4, and had she known about the inappropriate link, she never would have purchased it.
