Jay-Z Wants Woman Accusing Him Of Rape In Lawsuit To Reveal Her True Identity
Jay-Z wasn’t playing when he said he was going to fight against the sexu@l ass@ult allegations he’s facing in a civil lawsuit alongside Diddy.
In his first court response to the suit, Jay-Z’s attorneys call the accusations “patently false” and part of a “campaign of extortion” by Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee. As reported, Buzbee previously shared plans to bring forth over 100 alleged victims of Diddy. One of the lawsuits includes claims from a woman who said she was raped by Jay-Z and Diddy in 2000 when she was 13 years old.

The suit was filed under the pseudonym Jane Doe. However, Jay-Z’s legal team argues that allowing the woman to remain anonymous will only uphold the “scheme” to extract settlements from innocent celebs by falsely tying them to Diddy. The motion expresses,
“Mr. Carter should not have to defend himself in the brightest of spotlights against an accuser who hides in complete darkness. Mr. Carter deserves to know the identity of the person who is effectively accusing him — in sensationalized, publicity-hunting fashion — of criminal conduct, demanding massive financial compensation, and tarnishing a reputation earned over decades.”
It continues,
“Mr. Carter now is entitled to defend himself against these allegations with benefit of all the protections and mechanisms available to defendants.”
And adds,
“To be sure, attorney Buzbee’s game has been to prevent Mr. Carter from defending himself while punching below the belt. Today, that game is at an end and Mr. Carter’s defense has begun — starting with plaintiff’s unmasking.”
If the accuser isn’t forced to reveal her identity, Jay-Z wants the judge to dismiss the case.
