SNL Cast Left Shock After Audience Members Say “Sh*t” On Live TV [VIDEO]
A hilarious audience moment during a recent skit on SNL left the cast members shook for a second!
During the April 5th Weekend Update segment, comedian Ego Nwodim was cracking jokes about the latest happenings in Washington — including Senator Cory Booker’s historic March 31st filibuster.

Pulling the audience into her punchline, Ego asked:
“’Cause these men ain’t what?”
And the crowd did not hold back, shouting:
“Sh*t!”
As Colin Jost and Michael Che burst into laughter, Ego kept her cool and responded:
“You finna get fined for that!”
Referring to SNL creator Lorne Michaels, she added:
“Lorne gonna be mad at y’all.”
While it’s unclear if the FCC actually fined NBC over the moment, SNL has since censored the exchange on its official platforms.
According to Deadline, the explicit response did make it to streaming, but was caught by the five-second delay. FYI — “sh*t” is one of the infamous “seven dirty words” not allowed on public airwaves, alongside words like “f**k,” “c**t,” and “motherf****r.”
