Chris Brown Sued For Allegedly Humiliating Woman By Posting Her Mugshot w/ ‘Devil Music’ Playing
Chris Brown is facing a new legal battle after being accused of publicly humiliating a woman on social media.
Angela Reliford filed a lawsuit claiming the singer reposted a manipulated video of her to his platform with over 145 million followers. According to court docs obtained by In Touch, the clip was edited with “distorted audio,” “ominous, ‘devil’ music.” She adds that Chris’ post featured a mugshot from what she claims was a wrongful arrest, and included “false captions suggesting that [she] had intended harm to Chris and his dancers.”
The suit also mentions,
“[Chris] directly reposted the edited video to his social media platform, broadcasting it to millions of followers without verifying its authenticity or considering the damage it could cause.”

Angela says she’s now suffering “substantial reputational harm, public ridicule, and emotional distress,” along with harassment and threats from his fans.
She is suing for unspecified damages. Chris has yet to respond.
