Deion Sanders’ Son Shedeur Sanders Reacts To Not Being Selected In 1st Round NFL Draft Pick: ‘We All Know This Shouldn’t Have Happened’
The first round of the 2025 NFL Draft wrapped up without Shedeur Sanders hearing his name called, and now he is speaking out.
Shedeur Sanders, the son of NFL legend and Colorado coach Deion “Prime Time” Sanders, shared a video after the draft and kept it real.
“We all know this should not have happened,” he said, addressing the disappointment directly. Still, Shedeur Sanders stayed positive and said he is optimistic heading into Round 2.
Football fans also had a lot to say. Some are calling Shedeur a clear first-round talent who got snubbed. Others are suggesting teams may have been hesitant because of his confidence or even his father’s outspoken reputation.

Despite the first-round miss, Shedeur is still one of the top quarterback prospects left on the board.
Would you want your team to pick Shedeur?
