Oprah Winfrey OWNs Saturday Nights, ‘Watch What Happens Live’ Scores Season High With Porsha Stewart
Oprah Winfrey’s two-year old network is literally OWNing Saturday nights. Last week, Iyanla: Fix My Life featuring Sheree and Bob Whitfield, along with the series premiere of comedian Kym Whitley’s new show ‘Raising Whitley’ and Latoya Jackson’s ‘Life With Latoya’ brought in 3.7 million viewers boosting the network’s primetime lineup to number one.
More than 1 million viewers tuned into watch former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Sheree Whitfield and ex-husband Bob Whitfield attempt to resolve parenting and unresolved martial issues. Kym’s series follows her life, as she balances becoming a new mom and working as a Hollywood actress and comedian. On the second episode of the season, Latoya visited her hometown, Gary, Indiana for the first time in nearly 20 years. Both shows boasted over 1 million viewers.

Bravo’s popular live late night talk show ‘Watch What Happens Live’ boasted the highest rated episode of the season on Monday night. Over 1 million viewers watched Real Housewives of Atlanta newbie Porsha Stewart and actress Vivica A. Fox as they chatted with host and Housewives franchise producer Andy Cohen. During the show, Porsha revealed intimate details about her relationship with Kordell including learning about her husband filing for divorce on Twitter.
Fashion Queens starring Bevy Smith, Derek J. and Miss Lawrence also scored the highest rated episode of the season pulling in over 1.3 million viewers. The fashion show has the trio discussing everything relating to the world of fashion including trends, hits and misses. Recently, the show received a full season order after a successful three week trial run.
