Evelyn Lozada’s First Interview Canceled With Robin Roberts, Find Out Her Replacement

Initially, there were reports that Basketball Wives’ Evelyn Lozada was granting her first exclusive interview (since the alleged domestic violence incident with her estranged husband Ochocinco) with Oprah Winfrey, but those rumors were confirmed to be false. According to reports, the first interview was to be granted to Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts. But from what we hear, the interview has been canceled. What happened? The details are a bit fuzzy, but this week, Robin announced that she’d be taking a leave of absence from GMA to receive bone marrow treatment. TMZ reports that initially, the interview was set for this week, but hit a roadblock when Evelyn requested to have the segment taped at her (Evelyn’s hotel), but Robin was unable to accommodate her request as it would have caused her to miss her treatment.

So now what? Rumor has it that ABC correspondent Amy Robach will do the interview in Robin’s absence. No further details, nor an official statement have been released from Evelyn’s camp. But who would you have preferred to do Evelyn’s first interview, Robin Roberts or Amy Robach? P.S. My vote’s for Oprah, but y’all told me to sit down when I suggested it a few times LOL.

Robin Roberts keeps it real. I like her and I hope she gets better soon. But, I’m tired of Evelyn, dont really even care what she has to say. I’m sure GMA can find someone more intersting to interview…

Nah they just need to wait and let Robin gets better. She is beyond read and has a way of asking questions and getting truthful answers from who she interviews. Amy Robach would seriously need to be prepped before this interview. I’d rather see Matt Lawrey do the interview because he is a genuine asshole and knows of her antics.

No one will be able to get a better interview than Oprah, too bad she wanted to be paid for the interview.

I think Amy Robach is a great interviewer. Robin obviously is taking time off, and the show must go on. Oprah is too busy trying to get bigger names to help her ailing network.
