Pebbles Releases Official Statement Slamming TLC Movie: I have NEVER cheated or Mislead Anyone
As promised, Pebbles is giving her side of the VH1 movie, Crazy Sexy Cool: the TLC Story. This week, she released the following message on her Facebook page.
Statement from Perri Reid pka Pebbles
First I want to thank all of you for the well wishes and prayers. I apologize for the delay in responding to the movie, but I wanted to gather my thoughts. I have always been a private person and this unprovoked attack has been extremely upsetting to me and my family. I have needed time to spend with my family and for personal reflection.The movie contains many false and defamatory statements and scenes about me. Please know that I have never cheated or mislead anyone. I will defend my reputation, accomplishments, and character. My attorney is in the process of demanding a retraction of the false and defamatory statements and scenes about me from VH1.
She continued:
My silence has empowered individuals looking for a payday at my expense. I have held my peace for 20 years and it’s time the truth comes out. I will be sharing my story in the appropriate venue at the appropriate time. With all my heart I thank you for your faithful support.I am extremely proud of the success and massive accomplishments of TLC—the group I discovered, managed, and mentored. I helped push open doors for TLC and other women in this male dominated industry. My sacrifices ultimately opened the door for not only a new wave of female performers in this industry but also a new generation of female executives. That backdrop makes the movie extremely personally upsetting to me.
Last week, we shared that Pebbles will be lawyering up to sue TLC for defamation. And according to this statement, her camp is working on a retraction AND sharing her story.

Chile, pls. It was common knowledge back then that she was shiesty. Most labels were. She did TLC like so many labels did hip hop artists back in the day. They walked away with beaucoup dineros and the artists walked away with the shirt on their back and some meal money. Thank God for groups like TLC getting wise to the game. As a result of those public disputes, the world learned how the industry worked and artists were empowered to do something different. So, in that way Pebbles did help to usher in a major change in the industry-fairer contracts for artists.

Pebbles needs to stop, she really does. First of all it probably would be a little different if it was just TLC but hell look at Toni Braxton hell she filed bankruptcy who was here label? hmm. After 20 years and taking all of this money from TLC, Pebbles has the adacity to sue them because of story about how they seen things ran really. I hate Pebbles fat azz she was sheisty then, and probably is still sheisty wanting to sue someone after 20 years. Pebbles knows she jilted them girls out of millions rushing them to sign the contract. I believe the movie, Pebbles has no credibility at all. All she wants is a cut of the money made from the movie. And this BS about left-eye owing her money. Pebbles milked these girls for what they were worth. She needs to get over it she has been paid many times. She needs to charge it to the game and move her old dumb azz on.
I apologize/I have needed time/I discovered/I helped/I am in shock….OMG – I, I, I….that’s all she is concerned with. Pebbles, STOP IT! This was not about her! She just happened to be in the story line because they couldn’t tell it without mentioning her. She needs to leave these women alone and move on, really! Left Eye broke the math down, how much more do we need? Their situation spoke for itself and she was behind it, end of story! All of this suing them for yet more money, is making her look even worse than she was portraited. Isn’t she a pastor now or something? Wow.
She is so stupid. Like, everyone knows that this is true. No one would like about you pebbles, no one really cares. It’s not that real, just relax, Ok honey? Good.
