Kandi Burruss, Nicci Gilbert, Egypt Sherrod Attend ASCAP’s ‘Women Behind The Music’

The who’s who of music were out and about Tuesday night. The ASCAP ‘Women Behind The Music’ series was held at Halo in Atlanta honoring and recognizing women in the music community, highlighting not only women songwriters and artists, but women working in all facets of the business. Kandi Burruss, Distubing The Peace COO,  Aiyisha Obafemi, entertainment attorney Denise Brown were honored with radio personality Egypt Sherrod hosting. Nicci Gilbert, Monyetta Shaw (Ne-Yo’s ex-fiance), Alexandra Dilworth (The New Atlanta) DJ Traci Steele and actress Demetria McKinney (Tyler Perry’s House of Payne) attended the event, along with some other familiar faces.
