[INTERVIEW] Faith Evans Reveals Collaborations With Tevin Campbell, Karen Clark-Sheard & Keyshia Cole
While she’s thrown up the deuces in the reality TV world, Faith Evans is knee deep in creating, producing and giving fans more of her music. theJasmineBRAND.com correspondent @Smith recently caught up with ‘The First Lady of R&B’ at CENTRIC’s private screening of “Being” (which Faith was featured on). During our conversation she gives us insight on her new album, latest musical collaborations (she’s teaming up wit the likes of Karen Clark-Sheard, Keyshia Cole AND Tevin Campbell) and what she thinks about the current state of the music industry.
Check out the our conversation.
theJasmineBRAND: You are featured on the first episode of “Being” this season, how did that feel when they came to you?
Faith Evans: I felt special. [Laughs] I was actually really excited because even though I have a memoir, everybody hasn’t had a chance to read my memoir and maybe some of those who haven’t will get a little taste of my life story by way of this. That’s always a good thing.
theJasmineBRAND: You’re really gifted. You’ve got music, shows you’re producing, what do you have going on next? We heard you’re doing something with Karen Clark-Sheard; you’re going to be doing some gospel?
