Tami Roman On Returning to BBWLA: ‘LA Struggles Sometimes in the Ratings’
Tami Roman is the queen of consistency on TV. After getting her start on the Real World she’s transitioned to Basketball Wives, Marriage boot camp, Wife Swap, did scripted shows in-between and she’s now back on the LA version to Basketball Wives. However unlike any other story line she’s had in the past, Roman’s older and pregnant.At 45 years old the reality starlet is bringing her boyfriend, Reggie Youngblood, who is 17 years her junior on to her storyline on Basketball Wives LA.
This week, Tami stopped by The Breakfast Club to hold nothing back on her love life, unborn child, and the ladies of Basketball Wives LA. Check out a few excerpts:
Whether the pregnancy was planned or not:
Planned as best it could be. I never thought I would have children again but because he is 17 years younger, he’s never been married, and doesn’t have children, what I learned on Marriage Bootcamp was how to compromise in a relationship. So what I decided was to give him what he doesn’t have.

Whether she felt a way because he was so young:
I did. I was like he’s closer to my daughter’s age than mine. But the thing about it is he’s a very mature 28. We’re comparable to each other in terms of his wisdom and things that he’s experienced. He had to convince me. I had to see where his mind was and what he was talking about.
