(EXCLUSIVE) Rich Homie Quan – Ex Record Label Blasts Rapper’s Lawsuit: We made him famous!
Then on Septemeber 9th, Think It’s a Game Entertainment fired back at the rapper’s suit accusing him of being an ungrateful artist who doesn’t know the in’s and out’s of the music industry.
They state,
There are many talented musicians in the world. Unfortunately, musician’s talent standing alone is rarely enough to yield success in the music business.
The label says that Rich Homie Quan is currently at the top of his game in the industry and has been extremely successful, but they say he shouldn’t take all the credit because his success is not solely his own. They explain it is the orchestrated result of tireless and concerted effort from the people around him.
They add that before the rapper was famous, they signed him and spent money and time to develop him into who he is today. Further, the label says Rich Homie Quan believes he can find a better record deal and thus why he is suing them to break out of his original contract.
Think it’s a Game Entertainment blasts the rapper saying his lawsuit is full of baseless and conclusory allegations and they explain his contract with them was just like every other music contract for a newbie.
The label says they did nothing wrong and don’t owe the rapper, and are demanding the suit be dismissed.
