If your child’s father was in jail, would you let him visit? As you know, Love & Hip Hop: NY reality star Mendeecees Harris, who is married to Yandy Smith, is currently in jail.

And on this season of the hit VH1 show, one of his baby mama’s, Samantha, is adamant that she does not want to bring her son to jail to visit his father. Explaining her decision, she wrote on Instagram:

I never thought there would be a day where I would have to defend me wanting more for my child to others. Why should I have to explain why it is detrimental for my son to see his father incarcerated.

i agree with her 100 nope 200%. IT IS NOT NORMAL FOR CHILDREN TO SEE THERE PARENTS IN JAIL. A girl i know stabbed her husband to death for molesting their daughter. SHE WOULD NEVER LET HER come and visit, now I didn’t understand that because to me BobbieJean is a hero but she didn’t want her child to see her in jail and think it was anything normal about it. I like Yandy but I disagree with her on this one. It might be OK for hers but they are so little they don’t know, but it wouldn’t be OK for mine
