Journalist April Ryan has taken to social media, reacting to reports that Omarosa Manigault Newman has resigned from her White House position.

According to Ryan, Omarosa did not resign, but was fired. She also alleges that Omarosa became irate when she was allegedly fired and had to be escorted out of the building. See Ryan’s tweets below.
As previously reported, Omarosa reportedly resigned with her last day being next month.

There are conflicting reports about this. The White House official statement statement is that she resigned to pursue other career opportunities as did other staffers. It also announced that her last day is not until January 28th (Next year). So the report that she was fired and walked out today makes no sense. I know that these two women are arch enemies, but I expected better from April. This is obviously some petty ploy designed to cut. Shame on both of them for their immature antic over the past few years.
IMO, I don’t think April Ryan would put her reputation in jeopardy with false reporting. She is a respected journalist & im sure she will like to maintain that image, especially with this administration. It has been reported that Omarosa was on her way out by Kelly. I know April & Omarosa have history & they aren’t getting along now.
Actually, she was leaving to join her new husband in another city. Also, she cited Trump’s response to North Carolina as being a major factor. April definitely put her reputation in jeopardy. I watched her when she started the press circuit on Angela Rye and went from there. She was behaving like she was in the shade room. Her joy could not be contained. I lost respect for her with this one.
It’s funny that no one else was covering the story until April kept pushing it. There are a lot of outrageous people in the Trump administration, and many who have been fired and who left already. None was singled out and dragged as low as Angela drug this woman.
Regardless how i feel about Omarosa (She is absolutely no angel), I will never feel good about an African American professional, female no less, using her credentials and credibility to drag another Black woman because she is unpopular. When did April become the bone keeper? If her story is true, then Omarosa was already hitting rock bottom. All she had to do is let it happen. Instead, she took it upon herself to tell “what she’d heard from an unnamed source,” everywhere she could, forcing the Secret Service to deny her accounts that they were involved, so that she could inflict a deep wound that would hurt. These two women were friends for some time, and have had their battles, so her actions were obviously personal. April’s actions are not laudable in my humble opinion, and she has lost credibility in my view.
Pursue other career opportunities? Think about that. What’s bigger than working for the POTUS making lots of money for doing zero work? She got fired. There is absolutely nothing that would make her quit. She loved the “prestige” that came with her job title.
Except, maybe a new husband with a church in another city.

I believe April. She got fired. Omarosa’s job was to convince the black community to jump on the Trump bandwagon. She failed to that so she got fired. Last night is a testament to that failure. Roy Moore lost last night because black Alabamians voted for his opponent.
