Jay-Z (real name Shawn Carter) is officially number one. The 48-year-old tops Forbes list of “Hip-Hop Wealthiest Acts of 2018.”
Previously, 48-year-old Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs held the title.
Jay-Z’s net worth is reportedly $900 million. In 2017, it was estimated at $810 million, which earned him the No. 2 spot. His net worth increase is due to his many business endeavors including his label Roc Nation, streaming service Tidal, ventures with spirits brands Armand de Brignac and D’Ussé, among others.
Meanwhile, Diddy’s net worth is estimated at $825 million. His booming business ventures include DeLeon Tequila brand, his partnership with beverage company Diago, Revolt TV, and his Ciroc vodka line.
Dr. Dre ranked at no. 3, with a net worth of $770 million. Drake and Eminem tied at the no. 4 spot.
